FABrIC Leadership Team Expands 

Richard Dunda, Tim Warland, and Peter Stokes are named to senior positions on the FABrIC Team

January 22, 2024: FABrIC, a five-year, project to secure Canada’s future in semiconductors, is proud to announce three new members of leadership team.

Richard Dunda joins the team as Senior Advisor, IoT Products.  Richard brings over 30 years of technology industry experience (Microsoft and Rogers) focused on product & channel management, strategic partnerships, and business development.  In his most recent role as director of the Centre for Integrated Transportation and Mobility (CITM), part of Ontario’s Vehicle Innovation Network (OVIN), he was responsible for developing partnerships, recruiting and developing SMEs, and delivering services to support the growth of innovative start-ups in the transportation sector.   

Tim Warland  is joining FABrIC as Senior Advisor, IoT Products. Tim is a semiconductor industry veteran with over 30 years of experience in advanced-technology management, engineering, and product development. His industry experience includes industry leaders (Nortel, AMCC, Quake) as well as several start-ups.  Tim has been deeply involved in ecosystem development, and managed programs for organizations such as Invest Ottawa, the Ontario Centre of Innovation (OCI), and most recently, Mitacs. 

Peter Stokes Has been promoted to Director, FABrIC. Peter has held senior positions at CMC since 2005, most recently serving as Director of Partnerships. He has 35 years of experience supporting research and innovation across Canada.
