TEXPO 2023 

Applications are now closed for the 2023 TEXPO Graduate Student Research Competition.  The competition team will work with applicants to confirm entries and then we will post the competition schedule. The competition will be online this year and links to watch the presentations will be available shortly.

NSERC Competitions

The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) has opened the call for nominations for its whole suite of prizes with a new competition cycle starting in August. These recognitions celebrate outstanding scientists and engineers across the country in academia, industry, and the public and not-for-profit sectors.

In 2022, the government announced the acquisition of the IBM Quantum System One quantum computer, the fourth of its kind worldwide operated by IBM partners. The exclusive operational mandate for this quantum computer has been entrusted to PINQ², the Digital and Quantum Innovation Platform of Québec.
